European Grand Prix 2025 Papendal (NED)

We are thrilled to invite your team to participate in the European Grand Prix 2025, which will take place from 21–26 July 2025 in the vibrant city of Arnhem, The Netherlands. As the capital of Gelderland province and the 13th largest city in the country with nearly 168,000 residents, Arnhem offers a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and cultural attractions.

Home to the renowned National Olympic Sport Centre Papendal—where TeamNL hosts high-performance programs for various sports, including archery—Arnhem has long been a hub for elite athletic excellence. Notably, Arnhem also hosted the 6th Paralympic Games in 1980, welcoming 2,500 athletes from 42 nations across 18 sports.

The European Grand Prix 2025 will follow the official World Archery and World Archery Europe rules for European Grand Prix and World Ranking Events in the recurve and compound divisions. Each participating country may register up to six archers per division and category, in addition to individual club entries—offering broader opportunities compared to World Cup events, which allow a maximum of four archers per division and category.

With attractive prize money for the winners, the event is set to draw some of the world’s top archers. Participation is open to all World Archery Member Associations and club members.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting competition in Arnhem, where sports, culture, and nature come together for an unforgettable experience. See you there!
